So I tried running the Nighthawk on Seafoam. It was only for a few blocks, but i didn’t really notice any difference.

Snugging up the airbox
Snugging the airbox up against the carb boots can be a real bear. You just can’t get the proper leverage. I ran into this and remembered someone on the Nighthawk Lovers mailing list mentioning using a ratchet strap to bring it forward. It works great.
